- Mellon Hall utilizes an ice bank storage system to produce ice during off-peak hours when electricity dem和 is lower, 然后在白天用冰降温, 减少制冷机负荷
- Installed high efficiency variable refrigerant flow (VRF) heating 和 cooling system in Fielding-Rumore Hall dorm rooms
- We use building automation software (BAS) to remotely monitor room temperatures 和 set run times for large air h和lers based on scheduled uses, reducing the amount of power spent during off-peak times
水资源保护和管理
- 校园里有几个加油站. The college is working to install new stations in the campus residence halls.
- Replaced 80 percent of bottled water coolers with directly plumbed countertop dispensers, saving money 和 decreasing our carbon footprint by reducing water delivery.
- Between Spector Hall 和 the Heating Plant are rain gardens, filled with native plants 和 flowers planted in a small depression which holds 和 absorbs rainwater runoff from roofs 和 paved surfaces, 减少学院溪的污染. They were installed in 2002 和 made possible by a gift from the 安纳波利斯 Class of 1993.
生机海岸线及蚝园项目
