Our campus is nestled between the bustling streets of the city of 安纳波利斯 和 the languid, 学院溪的流水. • We have installed interior window inserts in Fielding-Rumore Hall 和 McDowell to decrease heating 和 cooling loss 和 minimize drafts
• Upgraded 95 percent of McDowell Hall 和 Fielding-Rumore Hall lighting to LED during the last renovation
• Ongoing project to retrofit existing campus with LED technology during routine maintenance
• Campus boilers utilize two fuel sources which allow us to switch to an alternate fuel during peak gas dem和 days
• Mellon Hall utilizes an ice bank storage system to produce ice during off-peak hours when electricity dem和 is lower, 然后在白天用冰降温, 减少制冷机负荷
• Installed high efficiency variable refrigerant flow (VRF) heating 和 cooling system in Fielding-Rumore Hall dorm rooms

• Our reusable green food container program (affectionately known as “greenies”) saves hundreds of pounds of waste each year compared to disposable container usage.
